How many hashes can I search for free?

Each verified run accepts up to 100 hashes. The server also enforces a maximum of 1,000 processed hashes per visitor per UTC day.

Why is Cloudflare Turnstile required for every run?

Every lookup uses external database capacity. Single-use Turnstile verification, request throttling and a daily weighted quota work together to prevent automated abuse.

Does a “not found” result mean the plaintext cannot be recovered?

No. It means the active lookup databases did not return a known match. This free utility does not perform an exhaustive brute-force or dictionary attack.

Can I use this utility on hashes from another person or system?

Only when you own the data or have explicit authorization covering password recovery. Public exposure or possession of a hash is not permission to recover or use its plaintext.
