MD5 and SHA digests are deterministic: the same input always produces the same output. That makes them useful for checksums, cache keys, fixtures and controlled compatibility tests, but unsalted fast hashes are not suitable for storing modern passwords.
For new password storage, use a slow password-hashing scheme such as Argon2id, scrypt or bcrypt with an appropriate salt and cost. This calculator intentionally generates formats—it does not claim to secure a password or recover a value from a hash.
