Domains

2 tracking parameters removed

Use this utility only with data and systems you are authorized to assess. Formatting a URL list does not grant permission to test its destinations.

Six output formats from one URL list

Switch the workspace output without editing your input. Every format is normalized and deduplicated automatically.

Clean URLs

Lowercase schemes and hostnames, sorted query strings, no fragments, credentials or repeated lines.

Domains

Collapse a mixed list into a unique hostname inventory, ready for scope reviews and asset lists.

Endpoints

Keep origin and path, drop every query string, so the same endpoint is only listed once.

Paths

Extract route structures across hosts to compare environments or map an application surface.

Parameters

Turn a URL list into a deduplicated query key wordlist without writing a single regular expression.

FUZZ templates

Swap every parameter value for the FUZZ placeholder used by common authorized testing workflows.

Private by design

A URL utility that never sees your list

No account, no upload and no request to the domains you paste—only text processing in your own browser tab.

100%

Local processing

Every URL is parsed by your browser. Nothing is uploaded to DorkPlus and no pasted domain is contacted.

03

How to extract domains from a URL list

Collapse many pages, paths and query strings into a clean hostname inventory for scope reviews, asset organization and reporting.

01

Paste URLs or text containing links

Use full HTTP and HTTPS URLs or domain-like values. The parser finds valid URL candidates and ignores unsupported input.

02

Keep Domains selected

The workspace opens in Domains mode and returns the hostname from every valid URL after applying the visible normalization rules.

03

Review the unique hostnames

Paths, ports, queries and fragments are excluded from the output. Repeated hostnames appear only once.

04

Copy or export the inventory

Copy the domain list or download it as text for an authorized asset inventory, allowlist or reporting workflow.

Why it matters

Why extract hostnames from complete URLs?

A crawl may contain thousands of URLs while representing only a small set of hosts. Extracting hostnames reveals that scope without the noise of individual pages and parameters.

The result is a text inventory, not a network scan. DorkPlus never contacts the extracted domains and keeps every pasted URL inside your browser.

  • One unique hostname per output line
  • Paths and query strings removed automatically
  • Useful for authorized scope and inventory reviews

Common use cases

Asset inventory

Reduce a URL export to the hostnames represented in the dataset.

Scope preparation

Build a unique domain list from authorized program URLs.

Log analysis

See which hosts appear across copied request or referral links.

Data enrichment

Prepare hostname keys for categorization or reporting.

Domain extractor questions

Answers about hostname extraction, subdomains, duplicates and supported input.
